ABC/Paula LoboKacey MusgravesGolden Hour is coming in early 2018.

The CMA and Grammy winner describes her fourth album as “trippy,” borrowing stylistically from a diverse group of influences ranging from disco gods the Bee Gees, to soul chanteuse Sade, to folk/rock icon Neil Young.

Kacey explains the album’s title to Entertainment Weekly:  “On this record, there’s the lonely girl, the blissful girl, the new wife, the girl that’s missing her mom, the angry girl, the sarcastic girl, the 60’s-sequined Cruella de Vil with the beehive, the shy girl, the life of the party, the winner, the loser -- they’re all characters on this record."

"None of them alone are me, but the golden hour is when they all come together and you see me as a whole,” she adds.

While the project includes mostly new tunes, it also boasts a fan favorite track that Kacey has often performed in concert, but she's keeping it a secret for now.

Kacey adds that we can also expect more love songs on this set, mostly due to the fact that she's now a married woman: she tied the knot with fellow musician Ruston Kelly back in October.

Photo by John Shearer/Getty Images via ABCYou apparently don’t have to follow a strict diet and strenuous exercise routine to be People’s Sexiest Man Alive, according to Blake Shelton’s main squeeze, Gwen Stefani.

Gwen recently told Food Network star Giada De Laurentiis she was fairly horrified when she realized what her boyfriend eats.

“Everything’s fried,” she said in a cooking segment on Facebook Live. “It shocks me, because growing up in California, we are a specific breed. We learn to be healthy. And in Oklahoma, they learn just how to have fun and eat and not worry about it. It’s fun, though.”

Gwen went on to explain that she and Blake have plenty of fun in their private moments -- even if they do sound a little sugary-sweet.

“We’re like we’re in a musical constantly and we just sing,” she revealed. “We actually don’t talk to each other, we just sing like a musical or everything we sing is like ‘I love you.’ Like it’s pretty much the whole time, like how great we are.”

ABC/Paula LoboMake way for Luke Bryan at the top of the all-genre Billboard 200 chart!

Forecasters expect the four-time Entertainer of the Year to sell around 110,000 copies of What Makes You Country, his new album that came out last Friday. That would put Luke on track to notch his fourth career #1 on the all-genre ranking, following 2015’s Kill the Lights, which moved 345,000 units in its first week.

That would also make the Georgia native only the fourth act to achieve that feat this year, following in the footsteps of Thomas Rhett’s Life Changes, Shania Twain’s NOW, and Kenny Chesney’s Live in No Shoes Nation.

We’ll find out how Luke fares when the new Billboard charts come out Sunday, December 17.

ABC/Image Group LASince Kelsea Ballerini will be a newlywed this Christmas, you might think it’d be hard to squeeze in some holiday shopping amid all the festivities with new husband Morgan Evans. But the “Legends” hitmaker confesses for her, it’s not a problem.

“I love online shopping. Um, it's also an issue for me,” she admits, “because it's very easy to just get things that you don't need -- quickly.”

When it comes to the most memorable item Kelsea’s found under the tree over the years, the Knoxville, Tennessee native has a stand-out favorite.

“My mom got me my first nice guitar,” she recalls. “It was my first Christmas when I moved [to Nashville], so… I was 15. And I had a guitar, it was like a $300 Yamaha, and I still have it. But she got me a Taylor. It was my first really nice guitar that sounded really beautiful and had a plug-in so I could play it, you know, at Puckett's [Grocery & Restaurant] and all the places that I was first starting to play. So that's the most special, probably.”

As Christmas approaches, Kelsea’s lead single from Unapologetically also seems headed for country’s top ten. “Legends” is at #11 this week.

Curb RecordsDylan Scott could become a daddy most anytime now, as he and his wife Blair await the arrival of their first little one.

Even though his first #1, “My Girl,” was inspired by his high school sweetheart, who became his bride, the Louisiana native is, in fact, expecting a boy.

“We'll have a baby at Christmas, which is going to be crazy…” Dylan tells ABC Radio. “We've got a name picked out, not a middle name. [We’re] still working on that.”

“I had the perfect name,” Dylan adds. “I wanted to name him Beaux. B-E-A-U-X. I just thought that'd be awesome.”

Blair, however, didn’t share Dylan’s enthusiasm.

“She said it was too country,” he laughs. “I was like, 'Babe, do you realize where we're from? Like, that's the way we grew up. We're country. This is how it is.' But she won. There's no battling her on a name, you know. So, she gets what she wants.”

Dylan’s first holiday EP, Merry Christmas, is new this season. “Hooked,” his follow-up to “My Girl,” just broke into the top 40.

ABC/Image Group LAChris Stapleton captures the top spot on Billboard’s country albums chart this week, with the second volume of his recordings From A Room.

The CMA Male Vocalist of the Year sold 116,000 copies of From A Room:  Volume 2, with a total that increases to 125,000 units when you account for album-equivalent units. By comparison, May’s first set moved 219,000 in its initial week.

On the all-genre Billboard 200, Chris couldn’t quite make it to #1, thanks to a little rock band named U2 and their latest effort, Songs of Experience.  From A Room:  Volume 2 comes in at #2, just ahead of Taylor Swift, who drops to #3 with Reputation after three weeks at the top.

ABC/Image Group LANext up for Florida Georgia Line, the duo will build their own creative compound not far from Nashville’s Music Row.

Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley envision a garden-sanctuary environment that will be made up primarily of three ventures: FGL’s publishing company Tree Vibez Music; Brian’s wife Brittney’s clothing brand, Tribe Kelley; and a new meeting and event space called meet greet. The new location is at 1910 21st Avenue South, in the Hillsboro Village neighborhood.

“Passionate people inspire other passionate people,” Brian says. “We thrive on letting our imaginations run wild and can’t wait to see what this city dreams up together.”

Earlier this year, Brian and Tyler opened their own bar and restaurant, FGL House, in downtown Nashville. They’re currently working on their fourth studio album as their duet with pop star Bebe Rexha, “Meant to Be,” climbs the chart.

ABC/Mark LevineLike so many of us these days, Christmas-lover Brett Eldredge is busy decking the halls. But “The Long Way” hitmaker admits he does have some help.

“I deck out my house with Christmas stuff. Do I do it myself one-hundred percent? No, my mom is the mastermind of all the décor,” he says. “If it was something like really awful-looking, I would tell her. But other than that, I'm like, 'Let's go crazy. I'll help you set it up. You tell me where to put stuff.' And we decorate the tree.”

For Brett, it was especially sweet to get to play his own holiday record, Glow, while trimming the tree last year.

“We always talked about, like one day we're gonna listen to my own Christmas album together,” he recalls, “after all these years of listening to all these classics that inspired me to make that album. So it was special.”

Some other parts of Brett’s yuletide plans didn’t go quite so well, however.

“Last year, I got a full-blown, giant, Fraser Fir Christmas tree,” he explains. “Then I got allergic to it. Two days after hauling it into the place, and I'm sneezing, I got a sore throat. I'm like, 'What in the world?' And lo and behold, it was the Christmas tree, and I was so heartbroken, because I always wanted to have my own Christmas tree, like a real one, in my house.”

Brett goes on: “My Christmas dreams were broken and I went and I got a really, really cool fake one. But that's fine. I'll just get candles that smell like Christmas trees, I guess.”

For 2017, Brett’s Christmas album, Glow, is available on vinyl for the very first time.

John Shearer/Getty Images via ABCFor all the haters who didn’t think Blake Shelton deserved People’s Sexiest Man Alive title, Gwen Stefani is here to defend why he did.

During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Friday, Gwen confirmed she was the one who convinced her country singer beau to accept the magazine’s honor.

"I feel totally responsible because he's so not that person," she said. "He doesn't even like to do a photo shoot. You can never convince him to do it."

But Gwen did manage to convince him, and that’s when she says “chaos” and “craziness” ensued. People took to social media to criticize the magazine’s decision, but Gwen says Blake’s “sexy” factor is more than just skin deep.

"If you think about it, what defines sexy?” she says. “It really is so personal, you know what I mean? For me, it's just that big ol' heart and that sense of humor. He doesn't even take himself seriously, and he's just such an incredible person. And that's sexy to me."

Gwen and Blake currently have a duet together, “You Make It Feel Like Christmas,” the title track on Gwen’s holiday album. They’ll be performing it on Gwen’s NBC Christmas special, airing December 12.

ABC/Paula LoboLuke Bryan took New York City by storm Friday morning, performing on ABC's Good Morning America live from the brand-new Opry City Stage, a country music venue and eatery in the heart of Times Square.  And Luke says he's always found that country fans in New York are just as dedicated as those outside the big city.

"People are always amazed when you're doing country music certainly in the heart of Manhattan, but the fans are the fans," he tells ABC Radio. "They love the music and they show up in droves."

Luke says he's happy that there's now a country music venue right in the middle of New York City where fans can get their fix.

"I think when you get tired of the crazy life in the city and you want a little slice of country here in the Big Apple, just swing on in and it's almost like you go to Nashville for a little bit," he notes.

While Luke spent Friday performing live on TV for millions of fans to mark the release of his new album, What Makes You Country, he was also marking something else: his 11th wedding anniversary.  So how is he going to make it up to his wife Caroline for putting their special day on the back burner for his album launch?

"She's flying to L.A. tonight, and she'll have roses waiting on her," Luke laughs. "And, you know, we've got a couple of days in L.A. to kinda go shopping. So we're gonna have some fun, but she was a great...she is a great sport!"
